Doctor in Medicine and Surgery. Specialist in Microbiology and Parasitology. Head of the respiratory and microbacteria infection Section, that includes support and epidemiological surveillance of tuberculosis. Undergraduate and postgraduate professor of medical Microbiology and parasitology of the Medical and Biomedical Science schools of UAB. Co-director of practicals of the subject of Microbiology of the Germans Trias Teaching Unit. She does research into biological markers of inflammation, tuberculosis and in national and international projects. Member of the CIBER Respiratory Diseases (Group 17), and member of its Teaching Commission. Head of the Microbiology Service in the New therapeutic targets programme of CIBERES.
