Doctor in Biology. Specialist in Microbiology and Parasitology. Associate professor in Microbiology of the Department of Genetics and Microbiology of UAB. Member of CIBER Respiratory Diseases. He does research into tuberculosis, new molecular techniques of tuberculosis diagnosis and into the resistance of anti-tuberculosis drugs. He also researches new immunological diagnosis techniques of the latent tuberculosis infection.
