Director of the IrsiCaixa Aids Research Institute, president de la Fight Aids Foundation and codirector of HIVACAT, Catalan programme for development of an effectiv HIV vaccine. Responsible for the Germans Trias HIV Unit. He leads a multidisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to clinical control of HIV patients and research on the virus infection and the vaccine. He is responsible for the Master in Aids Treatment and Pathogenesis and associate lecturer of Medicine at the UAB.
