Bachelor in Medicine, University of Valencia. Immunology specialist, Barcelona Clinical Hospital. Six months at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam with a post-residence grant. Doctor in Medicine and Surgery, University of Barcelona with special honors. Head of the Clinical Neuroimmunology Lab at the Hospital Vall d’Hebron, where she started her research on pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis.  Specialist at the Germans Trias Hospital since 2001. She leads the research group on tolerance and autoimmunity focused on developing cell-tolerogenic immunotherapies in autoimmune diseases and researching diagnostic biomarkers for response to immunomodulatory treatments.  Full professor of Immunology at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona Medical School.
