The first workshop in the Rutixef project is aimed at patients affected by familial hypercholesterolaemia, a condition characterised by an increase in blood cholesterol.  

Hypercholesterolaemia is associated with a higher risk of cardiovascular disease because cholesterol is deposited on the walls of the arteries. It is therefore important to follow a heart-healthy diet with recipes like these:
