Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery, Universitat de València. Intensive Care Medicine specialist. Doctor in Medicine with the thesis "Anthropometric study of the Valencian community: Alcoia"(Estudi antropométrico de la comunidad valenciana: l’Alcoià). His main areas of interest are sedo-analgesia control in Intensive Medicine services, critical patient myopathy and comprehensive care of the critical patient from extrahospital emergency until treatment at the Intensive Medicine Service.
Basic and Advanced Life-support in Trauma instructor. Resident advisor since 2013.Associate lecturer in the UAB School of Medicine at the Can Ruti Campus, where he teaches the sixth year Urgent and Emergency Care course. He also teaches postgraduate doctorate courses.
Principal investigator in several studies, some of which are focused on severe sepsis. Author of multiple scientific publications in national and international meetings and conferences, and national and international journals on sedation and myopathy. Contributions in medical book chapters. Member of the Catalan Society of Intensive and Critical Medicine and the Spanish Society of Intensive and Critical Medicine and Coronary Units.
