Since 2010 he leads the research group "Genomics and transcriptomics of synucleinopathies" with special interest in the identification of biomarkers for the differential diagnosis of dementia with Lewy bodies. She has published more than 60 articles in international scientific journals, half in the first quartile. She is a principal investigator of 7 research projects, author of 5 patents since 2010 and director of 15 thesis works (4 doctoral, 11 Master's).

It is also dedicated to the genetic diagnosis of degenerative dementias and parkinsonism through targeted exome panels of its own development since 2018.
