Specialist in Neurology by the Germans Trias Hospital. Between 2008 and 2010 he had a research contract with Río Hortega of the Instituto de la Salud Carlos III of the Spanish Government. In this period he trained in neuroimmunology and participated in several translational research projects focused on cell therapy for patients with multiple sclerosis.
Doctor cum laude with a thesis focused on the development of a new cell therapy for patients with multiple sclerosis.
He is currently working in the Germans Trias epilepsy unit, in the video-electroencephalogram (VEEG) cabinet and in the extended monitoring unit. He has presented numerous communications in national and international congresses and has published articles in national and international scientific journals of neurology, multiple sclerosis and epilepsy. Participates in research projects on new treatments for focal epilepsy and refractory status and has been awarded a Marató project as a principal investigator for the study of stroke epilepsy.
