Head of Service oh the Urology Service at Germans Trias Hospital

Head of the Kidney Transplantation Surgery and Urology Service of Germans Trias. Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Specialist in Urology from Hospital de la Vall d'Hebron. Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU), accredited by the European Association of Urology. Doctorate Cum Laude in Medicine and Surgery from the UAB, and with the award of the Spanish Association of Urology to the best doctoral dissertation on lithiasis.

In 1984, he was pioneer in Spain, together with Doctor Ruiz-Marcellán, in extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy treatment. Award to professional excellence from the Col·legi Oficial de Metges de Barcelona (COMB) (Barcelona Medical Association) in the category of hospital care.

Associated clinical lecturer of Urology at the UAB Medical School of the Can Ruti Campus. Member of the editorial staff of the journal Medicina Clínica. Author of over 180 works in national and international journals, along with papers at congresses and chapters of books.
