Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery, Universitat de Barcelona (Clinical Hospital). Intensive Care Medicine specialist at Germans Trias since 2006. Coordinator of the Medical Emergency System (SEM) centre at Germans Trias. Trained specifically in aquatic and subaquatic medicine, transplant procurement management, mechanical ventilation, and difficult airway management. His main areas of interest are using fibrobronchoscopy in percutaneous tracheostomy and comprehensive care of the critical patient from extrahospital emergency.
Postgraduate lecturer at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona Doctorate Programme and Advanced Life Support and Advanced Life Support in Trauma. Lecturer of Introduction to mechanical ventilation and Badavent respiratory support in 2013.
Research contributor of the Intensive Care Medicine Service and one of the chapters of the Germans Trias Hospital Emergency Care Manual (Manual d’Urgències) .
Member of the Catalan Society of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine and the Spanish Society of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine and Coronary Units.
