Coordinator of the Neurodegenerative Diseases and Movement Disorders Unit

 

Medical specialist in Neurology from the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (University of Barcelona). He has developed his professional activity in several centers: at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona he was part of the Section of Functional Tests of the Nervious System and at the Hospital de l’Esperit Sant in Santa Coloma de Gramenet he was head of the Internal Medicine Service for 13 years.

Since 2004 he has been a member of the Neurology team of Germans Trias, within the framework of the Neurodegenerative Diseases Unit, and is the coordinator of the Neurodegenerative Diseases Unit. He is also responsible for Neurology at the Functional Surgery Unit of Movement Disorders where the service works together with that of Neurosurgery. He is a clinical associate professor at the Department of Medicine of the UAB and a member of the Spanish Society of Neurology, where he is part of the Study Group on Movement Disorders. He has been secretary of the Catalan Society of Neurology.
