The Residence at Germans Trias
At the Germans Trias Hospital you can make your residence in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, chemistry, biology and psychology. Currently, we have 48 accredited specialties, 104 accredited places by 2025 and a total of 329 residents in the current course.
The Hospital has a long teaching history training specialists since 1985. Since then, the offer of specialties and squares has not stopped growing. In total, 40 promotions have been trained in our hospital and more than a thousand professionals have made their residence in the Germans Trias, of which about 40% has stayed in the Hospital with some contractual modality. The creation in 2012 of the talent retention scholarships was a bet of the center in this line.

As a resident, you can also choose to do a training period in another centre if you need to learn techniques that are not practiced at Germans Trias and which, depending on your training program, are necessary or complementary.
The Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London; the Yale New Heaven Hospital, in the United States; the Hospital Nossa Senhora da Paz de Cubat, in Angola, are a small representation of the hospitals where our residents have rotated. |
What does our residents say about Germans Trias?
According to the satisfaction survey that the residents filled last year, they valued very positively certain aspects, such as the reception in the hospital in its incorporation, the physical supervision during the rotations, the accessibility and dedication of the tutor and the feedback that they make of the evaluation. In short, the global process of teaching.
