From the Cardiology Service, patients who need regular pacemaker checks are attended to, a type of assistance that takes less than 10 minutes and can be done absolutely safely without leaving the car.

Currently the service has managed to review more than 500 pacemakers.
 

How will we do the pacemaker review?

 

•     Once you have arrived, please park in the designated areas on the floor.
•     First, you will need to sign a consent form so that your personal and pacemaker data can be stored in a secure place on the internet.
•     It is important that you verify your personal data so that it is always up to date.
•     Without you leaving the car, the healthcare staff will bring you a device that reads the pacemaker data
•     When this reading is over (less than 5 minutes), you can go home.
•     The specialized staff will review the pacemaker data and inform you by phone within the next 24-48 hours.
•     Please note that this review is solely a review of the pacemaker's performance and not to refer to health issues. If you have symptoms you must go to the center that corresponds to you (CAP, CUAP, Emergences...).
