Public pricing order of ICS
The Germans Trias Hospital is managed by the Catalan Health Institute (Institut Català de la Salut), the public corporation that provides the Government of Catalonia's health care services.
Because it is 100% public, under article 83 of the General Healthcare Act, the ICS must charge public prices according to the laws and regulations (Reial decret 1030/2006, language: catalan), from a liable third party.
Therefore, please keep in mind that if you are not covered by the public health system, the system will not assume the cost of the care received. In these circumstances, any expenses arising from the health care services received in our centre will be invoiced to the individual, health insurance or mutual insurance company, if any, responsible for payment. Likewise, remember that care received in our centre will be identical in all cases, regardless of coverage.
