Doctor in Medicine and Surgery with the thesis "Value of transcranial doppler in the progress and prognosis of severe craneoencephalic trauma" (Valor del doppler transcraneal en la evolución y el pronóstico del traumatismo craneoencefálico grave). Between 2005 and 2008, practicing physician coordinator at the Germans Trias Hospital and, from 2005 until 2014, head of Medicine Section. Transplantation coordinator at the Germans Trias since 2011. Service referent physician in acute severe neurological pathology.
Basic and Advanced Life Support instructor and, between 2004 and 2006, Intensive Care Medicine advisor at the Germans Trias hospital. Associate lecturer at the UAB School of Medicine at the Can Ruti campus, where he teaches the sixth year Urgent and Emergency Care course. He also teaches postgraduate doctorate courses.
Multicentric studies coordinator and principal investigator of the Intensive Care Medicine Service at the Germans Trias, and contributor in several international studies. Member of the Spanish Society of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine and Coronary Units.
