Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Specialist in Urology from Hospital Germans Trias. Coordinator of the Urodynamics Unit and pelvic floor pathology, and specialist in the areas of prostate oncology surgery and kidney transplantation. Author of a research project for for the UAB, entitled Valor pronóstico del ADN tumoral circulante en pacientes con cáncer de vejiga. (Prognostic value of circulating tumour DNA in patients with bladder cancer). His doctoral dissertation, pending reading, is entitled Marcadors predictius de resposta a quimioteràpia neoadjuvant en càncer de bufeta infiltrant. (Predictive response markers to neoadjuvant chemotherapy in infiltrating bladder cancer) He has written a wide range of papers at congresses and was awarded a first for an abstract at the 24th Annual EAU Congress d'Stockholm.
