The Leo Messi Foundation scholarships are meant to extend the specialized training of young Argentinian doctors in Catalunya. They are possible thanks to agreements that this organization and the Germans Trias Hospital have signed with the Paediatrics Association of Rosario and the Federation of Endocrinology Associations of Argentina (FASEN). They are awarded in two areas but always focused on children's healthcare.

 

Paediatrics

Bi-annual or annual scholarships for young Argentinian paediatricians who are members of the Paediatrics Association of Rosario to specialize in the following areas at the Germans Trias Paediatrics Services:

• Infectious diseases and clinical immunology (Paediatric infectious diseases)
• Congenital neurological and metabolic disorders (Paediatric neurometabolic disorders)
• Hospital paediatrics (Paediatric hospitalist)

Endocrinology

Annual scholarships for young Argentinian endocrinologists who are members of the FASEN to specialize at the Germans Trias Paediatrics (Paediatric Endocrinology Unit) and Endocrinology and Nutrition services.
